Hello, I'm Amy Queen, fine artist. Let me use this space to tell you a little about my vision with my work. Throughout my life I've done many kinds of art including drawings using pencil or colored pencil from Prismacolor, acrylic paintings, metal jewelry making and I've even been a cake decorator for many years.
I used to skip around different subject matter, and I sold pieces at shows. Now I'm ready to fully dive into my art and I'm keeping the subject matter narrowed down to more specific galleries that people are proven to be interested in.
I want my art pieces to really pop to the viewer. I want to make work that's really useful with color coordination. Each piece should be able to brighten the room and fit with the coloration of the room. I want interior designers to be able to use my pieces easily, whether they are amateur or professional. I want to reach everybody with something designed to be pleasant to look at. It should be interesting enough to be artistic and practical enough that. My work can be described as minimalism. I focus on the subject mater with a crisp white background giving it a modern feel.Many different people will like it.
When making my newest artwork I thought about businesses like restaurants, bars, offices and coffee shops. These works can also just as easily brighten up your own kitchen, dining room or other room in your home. For the most part I aim to make something pretty to look at with practical but beautiful subject matter. Thanks for visiting.
